Mommas a.k.a Trixie

17 years young

AQHA registered Quarter Horse “Frosty Trix”

Mommas is the cornerstone of our program and is a safe and gentle and, might we add, beautiful mare. She is Miss Alaynia’s personal mare and heart horse. She is a wonderful teacher. She has taught countless a child and adult how to ride. Her unflappable personality, gentle nature and intelligence is just priceless. We love you Mommas!

Sheiky

23 years young

APHA registered Quarter Horse “Something Sheiky” by Zippo’s Sheik

Sheiky is everyone’s favorite boy. Standing a whopping 16.2 hands, but don’t let his size fool you, he might be the gentlest animal on the farm. He is a sweet-natured boy that loves to work and especially loves kids! He is a retired show horse and hunter jumper and is enjoying an easy retirement here with us. His mom donated him in summer of 2024 to use for the program and we are so grateful!

Penelope

BLM Burro (donkey)

Age 8

Penelope was adopted from the Delta, UT BLM holding facility in July of 2025. She was rounded up just a month or so before being adopted. Although wild and untouched, she is the most trusting and affectionate animal I have ever encountered. She did foal a beautiful baby in September but we unfortunately lost him shortly after he was born due to health complications. Penelope has a special place in our hearts and has a forever home here. She starts her saddle and driving training in 2026.

Manchas

Mini KuneKune cross Pig

Age 3

The unofficial school mascot, Manchas, was born right here on our little farm and it was love at first oink for my daughter. Manchas was bottle fed and grew up inside the house, so she thinks she is a dog sometimes, but we still love her. She is a favorite with the kids. She likes to eat all the scraps the kids leave under the tables, swim with us on water days and “supervises”, * ahem * I mean naps often, on the clock.

Poncho

A.K.A. Señor Poncho Pistolas!

Miniature donkey

Age ~ 10-15

Poncho was given to us summer of 2025 by a sweet family who wanted him to go to a safe place where he could be loved on and cared for. We think he ended up right where he needs to be! The kids adore him and his shy but gentle nature is very welcoming and calming to those who are nervous or unconfident around equines. He loves to be groomed and just quietly stand next to you.

Waffles

BLM burro (donkey)

Age 13

From wild to mild! Waffles was rounded up from her wild herd and held in captivity at the Wheatland, WY BLM facility, which is where we adopted her in 2021. Waffles was one of the most difficult animals I’ve worked with and trained but we love her like family now. Waffles is a beloved member of the farm and totes kids around happily. She is a very affectionate donkey and loves to give hugs and rides.

The Bunnies

Holland Lops and Lionheads

Ages: varied

Our school bunnies are such a special part of our program. They help us out with play time, reading time, and the kids love to pet and hold them. They are so soft and calming!

Stella

Miniature Horse

Age 12

Stella was purchased in December, 2025. She is 33” of pure sweetness. Stella is a total love bug and sweetheart of a lil’ mare. She had laminitis and was suffering from founder when she was purchased and has now been rehabbed to full soundness again. She is the go-to pony for our in-hand lessons and grooming, as well as, teaching smaller kids to ride!

Shadow

Miniature Horse

Age ~8

We purchased Shadow in summer of 2025 as an unhandled project pony but it feels like we just weren’t complete without her! We think she is about 8 years old, based off of her teeth. She is a whole 32” of sass and floof. We adore this pony and her big personality.

KC

Quarter Horse

Age 28

KC was donated to us by a local family in summer 2025. He is a retired rodeo and 4-H horse looking for a retirement home where he can have friends and have a light job. We love this calm and confident gelding and all that he brings to our program.
