Farm School Fall Camp

This 5-week micro-school series will cover a range of fun and interesting agricultural topics and animal husbandry. The recommended age range is 6 years and up! The whole family is welcome to join! We will have fun activities and interactive lessons with take home keepsakes and activities to do at home from their day. Week 5 will be a celebration of a great summer spent learning together with popsicles, a splash pad and pony rides, so don’t miss it!

The dates for 2026 are August 18th-September 8th from 10 am to 1 pm.

The cost is $125 for the entire series. The class will meet at 10 am and runs until 1 pm.
We take a short snack break so pack a water bottle and snacks!

Week 1: Bees and Pollinators

Students will learn all about pollinators with some fun hands-on classroom activities and then we will go on a pollinator search in the learning garden! Learn about “meadowscaping” and why it helps pollinators! Everyone can take home their own bouquet of picked flowers and wildflower seed bomb.

Week 2: Feathered Friends

We will learn about egg development and all about chickens and turkeys. Students will have the opportunity to candle eggs at different stages of development, and interact with all the new baby chicks!

Week 3: Pigs

Oink oink! What do pigs eat? How many breeds of pigs are there? Where do they come from? Students will play with our friendly piglets at the end of the class.

Week 4: Horses

Neigh horses eat hay! Learn all about horses and their care. Students will learn safety, and do some fun in-hand obstacles with their horse or pony and groom them at the end of the activity.

August 29th Week 5: Celebration party!

Join us for a summer celebration party. We will have a splash pad, popsicles and pony rides!
